Crisp [1899-1977] was a native of North Carolina. After a career in various educational capacities, she later served as director of the Greenville Arts Center and spent much of her time writing. This is her second- and uncommon- volume of poetry. Signed by Crisp on the dedication page. Very good (lacks the front endpaper, name of Anna Louise Wilson, 105 Bridge St., Smithfield, NC on the half-title page), bit of browning endpapers); moderate rubbing d/j.
