1870 HOMER, Winslow. "ON THE BLUFF AT LONG BRANCH- AT THE BATHING HOUR." An original engraving, from a picture drawn by Winslow Homer, published in the August 6, 1870 issue of "Harper's Weekly." The 15.75-inch by 11-inch engraving depicts several women- in period dress- descending wooden stairs from the bluff to the beach where bathing attire can be rented. Handsomely matted and framed.
