The 100-year history of the famous piano company. Signed presentation from Steinway on the title page: "To my old pal, Harry L. Lindquist. Theodore E. Steinway." Lindquist, like Steinway, was an avid philatelist. He was a philatelic journalist and editor of the "Collectors Club Philatelist" magazine. Tipped to the front endpaper is an autograph letters signed from Steinway on company stationery, also to Lindquist: "Dear Harry, As you are one of my best, oldest pals I send you under separate cover a copy of my book "Pianos And People." It has, as you will see, a vague philatelic quality. Always, Theodore. Oct. 19, 1953." A very nice association copy. Fine; minor wear (few short tears) d/j.
