Hitchcock. A hand-colored, 11-inch by 15.5-inch page from the August 30, 1873 issue of "Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper." The scene depicts a violent storm hitting the beachfront with numerous people helping to remove benches and other items in the path of the ocean. Old hotels are pictured in the background. An uncommon print.
