1868 [HARPER'S WEEKLY]. SEA BRIGHT [NAUVOO]. An 11-inch by 16-inch, hard- colored, print from theAugust 22, 1868 issue of "Harper's Weekly" magazine showing two separate scenes of Nauvoo, now known as Sea Bright. The upper scene depicts "The Fishing Village of Nauvoo, New Jersey." It shows seaside huts and cottages with fishing boats along the shore. The old railroad line and the cliffs of the Highlands are in the background. The second scene depicts "The Toilers Of The Sea- Fishermen At Nauvoo Launching their Boats At Daybreak." Shows six fishing boats making their way through waves to the sea. An early Sea Bright print.
