The in-depth article also contains 11 illustrations, including Long Branch scenes, the race track, the beachfront, nearby Ocean Grove, Pres. Grant, etc. The last half-page of the article is provided in facsimile. An interesting look at Long Branch about 125 years ago. Very Good (occasional foxing).
