Signed presentation from Clara Clemens Gabrilowitsch on the front endpaper, to well-known soprano Hulda Lashanska: "You will enjoy this book- dear Hulda- which I send with loads of love. Clara. 25 December 1938." Clara Clemens is the daughter of Mark Twain and was a concert singer. She married Russian-American pianist and conductor Ossip Gabrilowitsch (whose picture appears in this book). Their marriage and relationship with the author is discussed several times in this book. Very Good.
