Chicago-based mob boss Sam Giancana was involved with the CIA in a plot to assassinate Fidel Castro and was a top figure in crime operations in the United States. In 1975 he was gunned down in a gangland-style killing that is still officially unsolved. Signed presentation from Brashler on the front endpaper: "For Marguerite- With my best compliments, William Brashler. Feb. '77." An uncommon book but particularly so when signed by the author. Very Good; some edgewear & rubbing (tiny nick) d/j.
