Signed presentation from Rice on the front endpaper, to author Theodore F. Wolfe: "For Dr. Theodore Wolfe, with the hope that in some of his literary rambles he may wander into the region of the Cabbage Patch and Billy Goat Hill- Very cordially- Alice Hegan Rice." Also with Wolfe's ink signature on the front pastedown and on the title page. Wolfe was the author of several books, mostly on the literary haunts of famous writers. Very Good (gilt on spine partially eroded but quite bright on the front cover, light dampstain lower portion spine).
