Orig. navy buckram & gilt title slt. rubbed at extremes (rubbed through in 2 spots on hinge vol 1), minor crease in spine o/w a bright clean copy with some very lt. foxing. The 2nd London edition varies slightly from the first - the 2 full page plates at p. 278 are now placed at p. 274 & 278, and there is a small tipped in slip before the folding map. Spence 1059.
