With chapters describing all aspects of native life, including superstitions, tools & weapons, habitations & furniture, amusements, etc, and comparative vocabularies of three tribes. The photos are captioned- "Kaawirn Kuunawarn (Hissing Swan), Chief of the Kirrae Wuurong (Blood Tip Tribe)" and "Yarruun Parpur Tarneen (Victorious), Chiefess of the Morporr Tribe."
