Illustrated with hand coloured aquatint plates after paintings by Pollard, Cooper Henderson, Rowlandson and Alken. Minor discoloration to cover of first volume, else a near fine set. This work on stage coaching is considered by many to be the finest produced. Vivid illustrations depict all manner of a coaching life.
