Contemporary full green morocco, (spines slightly faded), a.e.g. Illustrated with 412 hand-coloured zinc engravings, 20 of which are double-page. Some very light rubbing, else a fine set. An exhaustingly comprehensive and rare work covering all the trees and shrubs known to grow in Great Britain. Although the uncolored copies appear frequently, the hand colored sets are rare and this is a very attractive copy.
