A Tour in Wales
London 1778 Henry Hughs Contemporary full calf, edge of sides in gilt, spine expertly rebacked withmatching tones and 6 compartments of raised bands, title in gilt on two Pennant a Welsh naturalist and antiquary, belonged to a distinguished Welsh family, for many generations resident at Downing, Flintshire, where he was born. In 1778 he brought out A Tour in Wales. Most of this tour was through the northern Welsh Marches and along the north coast to Bangor. Later on this tour was followed by a Jouney to Snowdon (part 1 in 1781; part 2 in 1783), afterwards this formed the second part of the tour. 4to Engraved title-page with a vignette of Caergwrle Castle by P. All prices are given and payable in, U.S. Dollars, and are subject to change without notice. Items may also be purchased in other currencies at that days exchange rate (local).
Payment may be made by money order, cheque, Mastercard, and Visa. In case of payment with a credit card, we require a signed order, with card details (the number and expiry date) and the full billing address of the card. Unless otherwise instructed, all overseas orders will be dispatched by express post at the customer's expense. Shipping insurance may be arranged at the buyers expense and behest.
