London 1863 Day and Son contemporary full cloth, upper board elaboratly tooled coat of arms surrounding a decorative feather design with title in gilt elaborate foliage blind tooling as background within a gilt tooled ribbon and floral boarder. Spine rebacked expertly saving the original spine with elaborate ribbon and floral gilt tooling, all edges in gilt. The very decorative binding was executed by Dudley whose initials "RD" are displayed within the central title design. Crown Prince Albert, son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert married Alexandra, Princess of Denmark on March 10th 1863 in St. George’s Chapel Windsor. Folio Contains an elaboratly illuminated title page, 42 chromolithograph plates and wood engraved dedication and illustrations by Robert Dudley. A very good to excellent copy. P. half-title, blank, dedication, blank, title, blank, illustration list (4), 1-122, i-xviii.

All prices are given and payable in, U.S. Dollars, and are subject to change without notice. Items may also be purchased in other currencies at that days exchange rate (local).
Payment may be made by money order, cheque, Mastercard, and Visa. In case of payment with a credit card, we require a signed order, with card details (the number and expiry date) and the full billing address of the card. Unless otherwise instructed, all overseas orders will be dispatched by express post at the customer's expense. Shipping insurance may be arranged at the buyers expense and behest.
If any item should be unsatisfactory to the purchaser, we offer a full refund as long as the item is in its original condition, and we are notified within 7 days of receipt.
