Spine rebacked expertly saving the original spine, 5 elaboratly gilt compartments of gilt tooled bands, title in gilt on two. All edges marbled. An intriguing recount of the “secret anecdotes of his majesty, the royal family, and other distinguished characters, connected with the British court…tending to illustrate the causes, progress, and effects, of the principal political events of his glorious reign”
Robert Huish was a distinguished early 19th century British writer, among his works are Treatise on Nature, Economy and Practical Management of Bee done in 1815 4to Title page contains a vignette of the “Great Seal of England”, 17 plates of various members of the nobility and including a frontis portrait of King George III. An excellent attractive copy. P. frontis, engraved title, blank, title, printer’s imprint, dedication (2), introduction i-viii, 1-720, index 721-724.

All prices are given and payable in, U.S. Dollars, and are subject to change without notice. Items may also be purchased in other currencies at that days exchange rate (local).
Payment may be made by money order, cheque, Mastercard, and Visa. In case of payment with a credit card, we require a signed order, with card details (the number and expiry date) and the full billing address of the card. Unless otherwise instructed, all overseas orders will be dispatched by express post at the customer's expense. Shipping insurance may be arranged at the buyers expense and behest.
If any item should be unsatisfactory to the purchaser, we offer a full refund as long as the item is in its original condition, and we are notified within 7 days of receipt.
