N.p. [New York?, 1811] Livingston, Philip (1740-1810) was the great-grandson of Robert Livingston (1654-1728), the famous “first Lord of the Manor” of the Livingston family; and the nephew of Robert Livingston (1708-1790), Signer of the Declaration of Independence. He was the son of Peter Van Brugh Livingston, and the first cousin by marriage of James Duane, John Cleves Symmes, John Jay and William Duer. Livingston served as New York State Senator, Southern District, 1789-93, and 1795-98. In all, there are 19 numbered documents arranged in chronological order, ranging from 1768 to 1803. Includes property in Albany, New York City, Delancey Street, Westchester County, Sussex County, New Jersey, etc Small 4to. Fair copies of 19 Deeds copied in secretarial hand in ink; 70pp. Contemporary quarter calf and marbled paper boards, with binder’s ticket of Prior and Dunning, No. 111 Water Street, New-York (1808-1820)
