Skiff, who later sold his American literature collection to Mrs. Estelle Doheny: May 6, 1926 Dear Mr. Skiff: I think you had best take a look at the portrait in the April Vanity Fair. If that pleases I will secure a copy of that. Once more my thanks for your invitation & kind thoughts. I may get to Portland at that. Theodore Dreiser 8vo. Pen and ink on printed letterhead.
