Stockholm: P.B. Eklund, n.d. [1900-1905] Nice color plates of Swedish military uniforms, grouped byregiments, each plate showing the uniforms from the regiment’s founding (often ca. 1750s) through the turn of the twentieth century. This does not correspond to the only Eklund title in Lipperheide, dated 1890, which calls for only six plates. It appears to be an updated reworking of Lipperheide 2278 (Schützercrantz, 1849-1853, with 36 plates). The only copy located is in the Kungliga Bibliotheket (National Library of Sweden) (MILITARY COSTUME) First edition. Folio. 41 chromolithographic plates. Letterpress title with list of plates on verso. Later red cloth, spine label (rubbed). A couple of plates with occasional short marginal splits, overall fine and bright. Cf. Lipperheide 2278.
