With their heartiest congratulations and best wishes for the happiness and prosperity of himself and his wife. William Root. Herbert E. Root.” An attractive and desirable set 3 vols., 4to. Fully illustrated. Bound from the issue in parts, preserving original wrappers, in three quarter red morocco, spine gilt, a.e.g., for Charles Lauriat, by WIlliam and Herbert Root Of the famous London Bindery Root & Son, with their inscription on the occasion of Lauriat's wedding in 1912. Spine mellowed, faintest traces of rubbing. Fine in cloth slipcase. Ray 139; Houfe, John Leech and the Victorian Scene, pp. 151, 157, etc.
