An important part of foxhunting is the breeding of hounds and recording their pedigrees, etc. Herein are 26 years, to Sir Richard's death, of the famous Sutton Hound's breeding records, each entry filled out in a beautiful contemporary copperplate hand (FOXHOUNDS) Folio. . Original green vellum, marbled endpapers, velllum boards slightly bowed, else fine. Signed: "R. Sutton, Esq., Benham Park, Newberry, Berks." With the armorial bookplate of Lt. Col. Sir Harold Nutting, Bart. Quenby Hall. In cloth slipcase
