London: Printed by F.L. and J.G. for Matthew Walbancke ... George Thompson ... Abell Roper ... and Henry Twyford ..., 1650 An important compilation of precedents regarding the transfer of property (conveyance) created a demand. OCLC lists two variant title pages for this 1650 first edition, and only one libraryfor each (Virginia Historical Society and LOC), whereas a plethora of institutions own copies of the 1655 second edition. Indeed, the first seems so rare that the DNB articles on the infamous William Noye (co-author of this and the Attorney-General to Charles I) and on Robert Mason, both mistakenly cite the 1655 edition as the first, unaware of this, its 1650 predecessor.
