One engraved plate. 32 pp. 8vo, modern marbled boards (some foxing). [Paris: 1829]. First separate edition, a newly paginated offprint from the Annales de Chimie et de Physique (1829). The great chemist Gay-Lussac (1778-1850), spent much of his career investigating the properties of potassium and its compounds. Very good copy and very rare with no copy in OCLC.
