One folding engraved plate. 30 pp. 8vo, attractive antique calf-backed speckled boards, spine gilt, red morocco lettering piece on spine. Berlin: M.L. Pauli, 1792. First edition of this very rare work on the bleaching of various fabrics employing Scheele’s method which used chlorine. The plate depicts several bleaching apparatus.
