First edition of an important and rather scarce book; it is an extensive monograph on angina pectoris and contains many original observations. "C'est encore aujourd'hui la meilleure monographie que nous ayons sur ce sujet."­Bayle & Thillaye, Vol. II, p. 748. Jurine (1751-1819), was the most distinguished physician of Geneva of his time.
