Woodcut printer's device on title. 28 leaves. 8vo, attractive modern marbled boards (minor browningtowards end), red morocco lettering piece on spine. Paris: F. Morel, 1560. First edition. A very early work on plant grafting and with a section on plant nutrition. The astrologer/physician Mizauld (d. 1578), is well-known for his association with Oronce Finé and for his works on medicine, astronomy, and astrology. Fine copy.
