First edition of this history of the wool trade along with a detailed account of the methods of transforming fleeces into high quality textiles. Ribbe was professor of veterinary medicine at the University of Leipzig and a member of many scientific and economic societies. Very good copy and rare with no copy in N.U.C. Old library stamp on title of the Standeherrschaft, Königsbrück, with release stamp.
