The third catalogue of MSS. owned by the City Library of Augsburg, preceded by those of Wolf (1575) and Hoeschel (1595). "This catalogue is preferable to all former ones: though the MSS. described are to be found in the catalogues of Henischius and Ehinger, it is not the less useful on that account. The two Appendixes indicate the editions of works, either printed at Augsburg, or to the publication of which the literati of that city contributed."­Horne, p. 576.
