First edition of this useful description of the manuscripts seen and studied by the author during his literary and bibliographical journeys, including those at Lucca, Florence, Reggio Emilia, Cesena, Modena, Brescia, Mantua, Turin, Bologna and Ferrara. Zaccaria (1714-95), Italian scholar, was librarian of the Biblioteca Estense for many years and also edited a controversial literary and historical journal which was suppressed by the church authorities.
