The Marchesa Marianna Florenzi Waddington (1802-70), studied science and philosophy as a young woman. She translated Leibniz into Italian and was instrumental is making the philosophers Kant, Spinoza, and Schelling known in Italy. The present work -- which is very rare with no copy in OCLC -- is her medical/philosophical essay on the senses. Fine copy.
