Ottawa Canada Department of Mines. Geological Survey No. 1290 / Government Printing Bureau 1913, (25 x 16.9 cm), pp [iii], 40 + 16 photographic plates printed one-side with printed tissue guards, maps, text illustrations. Yellow illustrated paper wrappers. Signature of John Maclean to front cover (possibly the Canadian pastor and writer on Indians, b. 1851-1928, though cannot be certain). Front and rear hinges neatly reinforced with cloth tape, a few small pencil tick marks in the margins, else contents very good. The yellow covers are dust soiled and smudged, spine chipped, primarily at head and tail, else very good copy.
