London: Bruce and Wyld, 1845. 8vo, pp 302, dark green fine-ribbed cloth, gilt lettering on spine. Covers rubbed and scuffed, hinges weak, minor and spasmodic foxing, else very good. This edition probably printed from the parts plates: At the bottom of every 8th leaf is printed " The Novel Newspaper.-No. 415 (-No. 433)." First edition in 3 vols and parts both issued 1844-45.
