Boards cracking at hinges, covers scuffed and slightly soiled, contents very good. Faribault, 1789-1866, made two collections of Canadian materials for the Legislative Assemby of Lower Canada, only to see them largely destroyed by fire; his bibliography of Canadiana is the first to be produced in Canada. Sabin 23806; TPL 2060. Now very scarce.
