Covers worn and scuffed, occasional foxing, else sound, good set. One of the mor e sensational trials of the nineteenth century, as the government of George IV attempted to dissolve the marriage and deprive Caroline of her title as Queen. Even though, after the lengthy proceedings (Aug to Nov), the attempt was abandoned, she w a s prevented from attending the Coronation, July 1821, and died shortly after.
