Volume 2, Nos.101-200 Folio (53 x 37 cm.), title-page, key and 100 lithographic plates (each about 35 x 26 cm.) expertly mounted on stiff brown matts, half morocco, gilt and panelled spine, title label on front cover with stamp of the Conservative Club, a.e.g. Covers rub bed and scuffed, water stains to plates 101-20 & t.-p., some matts dusty, majority of plates bright and clean. Doyle, 1797-1868, turned out some 917 of these gentle,but accurate,political satires between 1829 and 1851. The majority were issued in v olume form by McLean from 1841 to 1844
