A previous owner has solved the gutta percha binding problem by effectively, if somewhat inelegantly, sewin g the sheets. Covers slightly scuffed and soiled, endpapers split at hinges, lightly foxed throughout, overall very good with brilliantly coloured illustrations. A variant edition of 1860 exists.
