Printed on heavy coated paper, there are a profusion of wonderful full page illustrations, each faced with a small paragraph about the picture. Also many smaller black and whites throughout the text. Peppin (p. 226) says "his most distinctive quality was a strking sense of design retaining something of the flavour of the Glasgow Art Nouveau." A charming book.
