This copy comes from the collection an editor at Harper Row who took this copy at the time it was first reprinted from new plates, hence it is among the very first copies of the new edition in 1974. The price is $4.95 and new information on Sendak's recent books appears on rear dw flap but on this copy he is listed as living in Greenwich Village (not Connecticut) and there is no mention that it is a new edition from the original art.
