Published after Doyle's death, from the original manuscript. Done with calligraphic text and large full color illus. enclosed in ruled border with Doyle's wonderful little men hanging on. Muir:Victorian Illus. Books p. 102 calls this "astonishing for its precocity." (See Osborne p.29).
