Promotional bookstore poster for the first biography of Fitzgerald, containing a photograph of the Fitzgeralds. Accompanied by a copy of the first edition, later printing. Of biographies, Fitzgerald himself wrote in his Notebooks, "There never was a good biography of a good novelist. There couldn't be. He's too many people if he's any good." Later printing of the book without illustrations and without date on the title page. See Bruccoli B35. A few nicks to corners and edges of original photographic poster, one long crease repaired.
