Folio, original half calf, paper boards. $1500. First edition, the author's copy, with his bookplate. An important association copy of the laws passed during the tenth session (January 21 to April 21, 1787). Included are acts relating to usury, "Oppressions by Arrests," Quakers and oath-taking, frauds, and larceny. Benedict 404. Some embrowning to text. Front joint splitting but cords holding; expected age-wear to boards. Unusual in original boards.
