Limited edition, one of only 500 copies printed of this magnificent collection of 50 finely etched plates depicting various art objects from British collections. Vases, bowls, necklaces, goblets, plates, and a variety of other objets d'art are pictured, from the collections of Her Majesty, the Queen, Baron Lionel de Rothschild, the British Museum, and many others, each with accompanying leaf of description. Engraved by Bracquemond, Courtry, Flameng, Greux, Le Rat, L'Hermitte, J. Lievre, Muzelle, Rajon, Randall and Valentin. Printed on fine paper with exceptionally generous margins, with list of subscribers. Ex-libris, with unobtrusive German deaccession stamp to title page. Etched plates clean and fine. A lovely collection.
