Published in the series "Letras Mexicanas." The dust wrapper vignette is by Jose Chavez Morado. ("This novella describes the lives of the fishermen of a costal region... during the epoch of the Revolution and the defense of the port of Veracruz when it was occupied by American marines in April of 1914" - translation of dust wrapper blurb. Mancisidor was also the author of a history of the Mexican Revolution.)
