Descriptions of three new Mammals...
Hazell, Watson & Viney London, 1898. Foolscap folio, 124 pp., with a handcoloured lithograph by Keulemans; a fine copy in original printed wrappers, largely unopened. An issue of Lord Rothschild's scientific journal the Novitates Zoologicae, which contains the first description of the Sminthopsis hirtipes, the hairy-footed dunnart - honestly. Another short article, by Rothschild himself, describes kangaroos then living at his famous zoological museum at Tring in Hertfordshire, and various hybrid offspring which were born there. The Tring Zoological Museum included numerous live specimens including zebra, a tame wolf, rheas, marabou stork, a dingo, kangaroos, kiwis, cassowaries and giant tortoises.

All items are guaranteed as described. If an item is not as described, it is returnable within seven days of receipt, unless other arrangements are made. Full refunds are given only when items are received in the same condition in which they were sent.
