A beautifully illustrated edition of this classic, with scenes from the poem rendered in Art Deco style, lavishly coloured in 'pochoir' by Anne Harriet 'Fish', w well known for her caricatures of the 1920s and 1930s for her mannered period illustration. This remains her most appreciated book. 4to,28.8cm. 108pp. Frontispiece and 18 pochoir plates, title in black and orange with small vignette, black and gold pictorial half-title, large orange and black decorative initials throughout. Navy cloth spine with gilt lettering and decoration, grey cloth over boards, orange decorated endpapers, a very good copy.
