This issue also includes the supressed "Black Coffee" which was withdrawn from the second issue due to the outrage it had caused in the first issue and because of John Lane's subsequent objection to it. Book-plate of the Beardsley collector Pickford Waller. On the rear endpaper is fixed a newspaper clipping announcing the death of Mr. Walter Ruding two weeks after the publication of his novel "An Evil Motherhood", confirming the recent speculation that the author Walt Ruding really existed and the name was not a pseudonym. 20 pp. advertisements dated 1895-96. Uncut. Very slight foxing, otherwise a fine copy.
