Garside, Raven, Schowerling "The English Novel" 1816: 35. First published in the same year and often mistakenly attributed to Alethea Lewis. This is in effect a four volume work, volume two being divided into two parts which have separate pagination. The story of a woman who is accused of accumulating debts and who apparently tries to settle them without her husband's knowledge. Spines rubbed on joints, boards slightly worn, otherwise a very good set.
