London, Grant Richards. 1898. First edition. Original quarter parchment, blue boards. 8vo. pp. xvii. 249. Lee-Hamilton lived in Florence where his home became a centre of intellectual society. A translation, in verse, which endeavours to capture the "sense and sound of the original." The Esher copy (Oliver Brett book-plate). 2 pp. undated advertisements. Spine slightly rubbed and darkened; a very good copy.
