A scarce collection of short stories published in Paris which had no equivalent in England. Most of the stories, presumably culled from English Annuals of the period, are anonymous; among the named authors are Charles Lamb, Mrs. Norton, Miss Mitford, Mary Shelley and Leigh Ritchie. Scarce: various separate volumes are recorded in NSTC, but no complete set; no volumes located in NUC. Spines faded and lightly rubbed, labels of volume one chipped, otherwise a very good set.
