First edition, one of about twelve copies. 12mo. pp. 8.Inspired by sitting in his oak chair (given to Gutch by his brother), Gutch offers poetic reflections on his library, his dead daughter and his son, a King's Messenger, "en mission" in Greece. In very good condition. Gutch was a childhood friend of both Lamb and Coleridge. No copy in BL or NSTC.
